situated
in
the
heart

the
Jerusalem Hills, about 15 kilometers from Jerusalem and 50
kilometers from Tel Aviv. Coming from Tel Aviv on Highway No. 1,
exit at the Hemed Interchange and turn left to pass over the bridge,
left again to the round-about and follow the sign to Neve Ilan. After 3

In 1913 Hadassah Women's Zionist Organization of America chose as its symbol a portion from the Book of Jeremiah 8:19-23 Aruchat Bat_Ami "The Healing of the Daughter of My People" With the founding of Kibbutz Neve Ilan in 1946, the Long Island Chapter of Hadassah adopted Neve Ilan, and thus this motto appears on the gates to the settlement. |
